Beef with Plum

Description

A moroccan dish prepared when you are craving meat, but don’t have much time to prepare. Simple yet, extremely aromatic. Perfect to combine with Rice or bread

Ingredients

  • Half a kilo of Beef

  • 3 onions

  • 1 tablespoon of ginger powder

  • 1 tablespoon of salt

  • 1 tablespoon of black Pepper

  • 1 Cup of olive oil

  • 100 gms Dried black Plum

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1 inch stick Cinnamon

  • 5-10 Almonds

  • 10 gms Sesame

  • 4 BoiLed eggs

Directions

1. Finely Chop the onions

2. Put the onions in a saucepan and saute for 2 minutes with olive oil

3. Add the Meat, salt, black Pepper, ginger powder, and cook over low heat for 15 minutes.

4. Add Water unit it covers the meat. Cook until meat is completely cooked and is tender

5. At the same time , put the prunes in water and add sugar, cinnamon, and Almonds. Cook over a low heat until prunes are tender (10-15 minutes)

6. Serve the Meat and place the broth and Plum over it , and décorate with eggs. Serve with rice
