Uštipci (Fried dough)
A simple yet satisfying snack for popular in Balkan coutries of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, especially in Vojvodina.
5 grams salt
3 grams sugar
250 grams flour
500 milliliters sunflower oil
1. Whisk two eggs in a bowl, then add salt, sugar, milk and whisk. Then gradually add the flour, the mass should be a little thicker than the pancake mass.
2. Leave the mass for 10 minutes to rest. In a smaller pan, heat the sunflower oil, when it is added gradually with the spoon mass that we have previously prepared into the heated oil.
3. When one side yellows, we turn the donut. To fry on both sides. When browned on both sides, we separate onto a plate covered with a napkin. We repeat this process until we have consumed the whole mass.
4. When fried, you can serve them as salty or sweet. Pleasant.
