At ChefPassport we are on a mission to connect like-minded Digital Food Explorers with local Chefs from all over the world. We are a rapidly growing company providing Virtual Cooking Classes for consumers and Virtual Cooking Events for corporates via our digital platform We have a network of 40 Chefs from 20 different countries, a growing community of 10K followers and on our portfolio we count Business Customers like Google, Amazon, Procter & Gamble and Cisco, among others.

We believe that food is a medium of love and connection, and learning from local Chefs about worldwide traditions and cultures via online food experiences is probably the safest way to connect humans and virtually travel the world during these unprecedented times during the pandemic.

In order to meet the increasing demand for our services and expand our Event Operations Team, ChefPassport is looking for a Virtual Event Producer.

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate ChefPassport virtual events operations, pre, during and post-event. 

  • Work closely with the Account Management Team to take over event confirmations and Customer requirements. 

  • Liaise with the Customers and the Chefs to plan the event agenda, menus and schedule. 

  • Build event support digital material in line with the Customers’ requirements and ChefPassport’s brand guidelines. Audio/video/written guides, manuals, recipe books, ingredients and kitchenware lists. 

  • Manage Guests Lists. Collect Guest info, send out invitations, reminders, monitor acceptances. Work closely with the Communication Team and the C-levels to frame the tone and communication for each event.

  • Lead the event on the day. Virtually check-in and welcome guests, Open and Close the line, take questions from participants in the chat, interact with chefs and attendees. Escalate technical issues to the Tech Support Team.

  • Work with the Account Management and Customer Support Team on gathering and implementing Customer feedback.

  • Suggest product and process improvements to the Product and Tech teams to inform future events.

Required Skills: 

  • Strong alignment with ChefPassport’s Vision, Mission and Corporate Values. 

  • Proven work experience as an Event Manager, Event Planner, Operations Specialist, or relevant role. 

  • Outstanding Time Management and Organizational skills, especially in planning across multiple Time Zones.

  • Extreme orientation to details and ability to multitask and not to lose focus across multiple inputs. 

  • Excellent verbal and written Customer-facing communication in English (native speaker is a plus). 

  • Interpersonal skills and public speaker personality to lead and engage groups over video conferences. 

  • Flexibility to support from time to time events in non-friendly working hours as Customers are across multiple time zone. 

  • Advanced IT literacy especially in MS Office/Google Tools (particularly Spreadsheets). 

  • Solid experience with Smart Working Video and Collaboration Tools (, Slack, Zoom/Google Meet). 

  • Good experience or willingness to learn modern graphic design photo/video editing tools (Canva, Magisto). 

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Operations Management, Management Engineering, or relevant field.
